2025 BC Provincial Buddhist Cultural Festival Art Camp

OVERVIEW

Art Camp in 2025 BC Buddhist Festival will bring together by 13 local BC Artists to showcase various art traditions and media including Oil Painting, Portrait Sketching, Flower & Birds and Landscape Painting, Calligraphy, Stone Painting, Story Telling to Media Making, Shadow Puppetry Production,Imaginative Writing, Buddha Art & Zen Poetry Copying. The artists use there talent to deeply connect with the public and contribute to the community. On this special Birthday of the Buddha, the third BC Buddhist Day and the tenth Buddhst Cultural Festival, they will celebrate with the participating public and offer art to the Three Jewels.

THEME & SLOGAN

In the 2025 BC Provincial Buddhist Cultural Festival Art Camp, artists will present the development of local Buddhist modern art creation with their unique "Infinite Richness of Mind" as a meditation. Fun activities for family and children's parent-child interaction and engaging communication will be provided in the Art Camp. To showcase their creative practices, by teaching various imaginative methods, artists will show their best art on site. All activities demonstrate that Buddhist art comes from the vibrant daily life.
